University of Arkansas
Allison Vetter, Brittany Gabriel, Ron Rainey
Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process that helps farmers, lenders, and others resolve agricultural disputes quickly and affordably without going to court. Supported by USDA funding, certified mediators assist in finding mutually agreeable solutions on issues like farm loans, conservation programs, and USDA decisions. Most programs are free or low-cost, and participants can choose whether to take part.
